another beat

3.5 million ppl live here. that is like three stockholms plus a gothenburg. or just seven gothenburgs. i should have done my homework i guess, cause i really didnt know. berlin also seem extremly spread out. you never seem to get to the suburbs... its all city. this sort of forces you into their (so far abit mental) public transport system, like to or not. they call them (yes they are seperated from eacother?!) UBahn, SBahn and trams. they are pretty fast and that, but im gonna try and get myself a bike... they seem harder to find then i had excpected but it cant be impossible no.
felix has given me tomorrow off, so i will dispose my day wisely and get myself a simcard to all three of us and maybe buy some paint, if we can agree on colours hehe (emelie likes mustard yellow..... and i like emelie.) this weekend we are pimpin up our flat. boris, our new friend previously referd to as "the man with the flat" has given us permission to splash some colour on the walls. it will be fun.
so far i think we are all doing just fine. it is all new and takes some getting used to. its a little weird beeing so new (and courious) to a place and then getting straight into everyday rythm.
okok, so we are probably going to keep this low profile up til friday and then: Action.
ems heard something about nan goldins exhibition and we might just be super lucky and slip into a seminar she is doing. coooool aye? :)
katarina n myself finished a lil earlier then emelie today and just got back from a lil evening stroll. we invested in some classy red wine €1.09 per bottle. you heard me. SO... we are all pacein down now, gonna light some candels n then watch a couple of skins episods :)

ill try n add a couple of pix from our journey here. it took us 26.5 hrs from door to door n yes. it was so mental. and i didnt snore. katarina lies. hahha nah i probably did. didnt realize i got any sleep at all.
did i mention that this place is amazing? like eastern berlin is just wild. heard they some call west berlin to mordor. now im so tired i dont know whats up or down, but when i heard it i thought it was hilarious.
